I am a 23-year old painter currently living in Helsinki and studying at the Academy of Fine Arts. My work is quite often figurative and fragmented, borrowing elements from things like manga, video games and other digital media. I try to emphasize the mediated and fleeting nature of these things that pop up on the computer screen, and sometimes they get reduced to something much more ambiguous. The images I make are born out of disorganized visual and written notes, as well as music I'm inspired by.
