About Us

WWW Contemporary is a curated online marketplace for contemporary art, providing artists with an easy and professional way to sell their work. Founded by artistic director Miro-Benjamin Lindström and administrative & operational director Eemil Mäkelä, our platform connects artists with collectors worldwide.

We offer a service that facilitates the sale of artworks on behalf of artists, ensuring a seamless and secure transaction process. When you purchase an artwork, you are buying directly from the artist, with WWW Contemporary acting as the intermediary to handle the logistics and practical arrangements.

As a fully independent platform, we are committed to promoting fine art distribution through a carefully curated selection of works, making high-quality contemporary art accessible to collectors everywhere.

Our Mission

At WWW Contemporary, our mission is to democratize access to fine art and create a community where artists and collectors can connect. Our focus is on collaborating high-level creators aiming to spotlight emerging work from diverse backgrounds internationally.

What We Offer

Curated Collection: Our online collection is carefully curated. We want to offer exclusivity without elitism—a trusted platform where selected artists gain global reach, and buyers access fine art effortlessly.

Direct Collaboration with Artists: We collaborate closely with our member artists, providing artworks that come straight from their studios. We prioritize authenticity and ensure fair compensation for all artists involved.

User-Friendly Online Shop: WWW’s user-friendly and forward-thinking interface makes browsing artworks a creatively playful and interactive experience. Our site is built on a randomization method, meaning that the order of artworks is always unique.

The website was created by Viiksi, and the visual identity was designed by Lars Högström.
